Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
· 4-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, with proven experience in demand planning and international trade.
· Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting tools, ERP systems, and Excel.
· Knowledge of international shipping, customs processes, and documentation.
· Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
1. Demand Planning & Forecasting:
· Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and customer inputs.
· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align forecasts with promotional activities and market demand.
· Analyze demand variances and provide insights for continuous forecast accuracy improvement.
· Lead monthly demand planning reviews with cross-functional teams.
· Monitor stock levels and adjust forecasts based on sales performance and seasonal fluctuations.
2. Import & Export Operations:
· Manage end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
· Coordinate with shipping forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines for booking, tracking, and clearance.
· Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs documentation requirements.
· Track shipments and handle any issues or delays in transit or customs.
3. Procurement & Supplier Coordination:
· Work with procurement to source materials and finished goods from both local and international suppliers.
· Review purchase orders, confirm supplier lead times, and ensure on-time delivery.
· Negotiate and manage contracts and terms with logistics providers and vendors.
4. Inventory & Warehouse Management
· Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock outs or overstocking situations.
· Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage inbound/outbound logistics, space utilization, and inventory accuracy.
· Implement inventory optimization strategies such as safety stock, reorder points, and MOQ (minimum order quantity).
5. Logistics Coordination:
· Optimize transport routes and reduce shipping costs through vendor negotiation and route planning.
· Arrange inland transportation for both import and export goods.
· Ensure timely distribution of goods to customers or local warehouse.
6. Compliance & Documentation:
· Prepare and verify shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
· Ensure trade compliance with local regulations, export/import laws, and customs procedures.
· Maintain detailed records for internal audits and legal purposes.
7. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
· Develop KPIs to measure supply chain performance and identify improvement areas.
· Generate regular reports on inventory, forecast accuracy, logistics performance, and procurement status.
· Present data-driven insights to management for strategic decision-making.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration:
· Act as a key point of contact between warehouse, sales, finance, and operations teams.
· Support new product launches, promotional activities, and seasonal campaigns through coordinated planning.
· Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
